Biography

Holland Ferguson is a co-term student in Electrical Engineering and holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Stanford. She has worked on R&D teams across the aerospace and deep tech sectors since age 16, including at SpaceX, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and Commonwealth Fusion Systems. At Stanford, Holland led the Liquid Propulsion Team within the Stanford Student Space Initiative and has recently focused her research on maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), particularly related to the PRC’s maritime militia in the South China Sea. As a National Security Innovation Scholar at the Gordian Knot Center, she developed an initial technical implementation plan for an open-source, multi-sensor maritime tracking and identification algorithm.
