Mandy Alevra

Mandy is a Stanford M.S. student in Management Science & Engineering (also B.S. at Stanford in MS&E), with a focus on advanced technologies. She’s researched nuclear innovation and policy at the Hoover Institution, co-authoring the nuclear technologies section of the Stanford Emerging Technology Review. Through her work as a National Security Innovation Scholar at Stanford’s Gordian Knot Center, Mandy has focused on nuclear energy policy and tech commercialization, briefing the National Security Council at the White House on strategies to modernize the U.S. nuclear sector.
